Is this possible: Use iBook battery in a 12" Powerbook G4?

Can I use the battery of a 12" iBook in a 12" Powerbook G4?

It appears it might not fit exactly, but if I were to make it fit, is it the same power output, etc? Will I break anything electronically by doing so? Will it charge fine?
