I trust the newegg ratings, people tend to be pretty angry when something does not work. That product has great reviews.

Have it, and loved it for the few days I used it, before Apple gave me a new unibody replacement, so now I need DDR3. Selling it now. Figured I'd go for $30 or so.
Added quite some speed, and let me open many more apps at once. You will like that RAM a lot.
