This memory is DDR3 1333 MHz, whereas your MacBook Pro is only capable of using DDR3 1066 MHz. Now if these memory modules support running at 1066 MHz with standard timings then they should work. However, to avoid any hassles I would recommend picking up an upgrade kit that is specifically rated at 1066 MHz as some people have mentioned running into issues when using faster memory than what their MacBook Pro supported (I'm not sure specifically which models these were related to though).

Kingston offers an 8 GB DDR3 1066 MHz memory upgrade specifically tested to work with your model of MacBook Pro: http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Modu...3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1320813660&sr=1-3, which is $47.95 - which is only a little bit more expensive than what you were looking at from Corsair.

Hope that helps, have a great day.
