no it's not compatible. you need a Data Rate of 800MHz for the new Penryn iMacs.

you need:

Unbuffered, Non-ECC, 1.8V 200-pin PC6400 DDR2 800 MHz SO-DIMMs with a CAS Latency of either 5 or 6
