Is this real? -Ipod touch 2G jailbrake with proof

Hi guys, im new here and have been readin through alot of topics about the ipod touch 2G and that it cannot be jailbroken. I hav found this video tho (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Ix5gEKly6fQ) with tons of postivive feedback and proof that it works :S.
is this real?

i did search and found no topics with that video link,
and there are images in the decription showing his 2nd Gen ipod touch (it does have the buttons on the side and the chrome backing)

You know how you can take a screenshot of the entire screen? He did that on a first-gen iPod touch, copied them to the Photos section of a second-gen, and took pictures of it with the pictures up.

you sure you searched? all I did was scroll down to halfway on the hacks section and found: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/609338/

god I thought we put this clap trap to rest :rolleyes:

theres no video step by step proof, screenshots well thats easy to do you just need a jailbroken iPod..... take pics and sync pics to 2nd gen iPod and take pics of ipod with screenshots fullscreen.... any idiot can do it and that youtube link proved an idiot did :rolleyes:

You can tell this is fake. What really sets it off is the fact that he will offer support, but only through PayPal donations. Any idiot can see he's trying to scam you! And those "positive comments"... well I can only guess that he just made a bunch of accounts, and then posted those comments himself, just so that people will try the download, find it doesn't work, then pay him money to get support, only to find all of your PMs unanswered once he has your money.

I'd just like to quote from the iPhone dev teams blog

iPod touch 2G

Currently we are not investigating the iPod touch 2G. Other people outside the Dev-Team are looking into this, but we are not at the moment. Please don’t hassle us with comments and requests about this, they’ll just be deleted and ignored. If we do look at this device it will be sometime in the New Year and we’ll inform you guys if and when we commence this work.

We would like to reiterate that this is not because -

We are mean
We are turning our back on the iPod touch community
We have been paid off by JFK, Princess Diana or Elvis
This is because -

It’s not an iPhone
We have been busy with the 3G unlock.
We have been busy with the CCC talk.
Only one of us has a iPod touch 2G (but we’ll see what Santa brings)
Our employers don’t get as excited as us about hacking expensive pretty devices
Unfortunately our partners, parents and pets need occasional attention too.

I'd just like to point out that the IPSW he's working with is ipod1,1_2.1 or something like that--regardless though it shows he's working with something other than the 2nd Gen.

PAY ATTENTION. So has anyone else flagged this video?
