I found this to revive your iphone after it has been dropped in any type of liquid including beer.

Looking at the video and the product I think it is a very good idea.

After dropping your phone in any liquid you place it in a sealed bag with a special liquid for 7 minutes and then you leave your iphone to dry for 24 hours.
