I installed the beta of 9.2 to install the GM and ran an update on my Snow Leopard. I didn't check to see what it updates exactly so I don't know if it updated iTunes to the stable release. This is what I've got, if yours matches and you never installed the beta, let me know please. I'm just getting prepared for the new phone :)

I'm pretty sure you'll need the official release of 9.2, whatever build that is. Just check for updates and install whatever is out there.

It appears its 9.2 build 61

Just do a "check for updates" and if there isn't one than I think you're good to go. ;)

EDIT: fuzion beat me to it!

I got my official update from "Apple Software Update" and the version is 9.2.61

nothing showed up in the software update. i'm just downloading it from apples website and trying to reinstall. hopefully that works :)

I'm actually doing that right now. I have iTunes 9.2 beta and it wasn't recognizing the public version of iTunes 9.2.

Beta should still work for activation... Just download iTunes from ITunes.com and install it....

What's interesting is that every time I would go to download it from Apple, it didn't download at all. I had to restart and then reinstall Firefox and that didn't work and then had to reinstall Safari and then it finally worked!
