can't really tell anything from the picture but if your computer was "new" and these marks were already there, then, no, that wouldn't be the infamous discoloration problem. Your description of grease marks isn't what others have described either.

It's very hard to see with the angle of your picture. The previous post is correct, the description you are discribing doesn't match others that have suffered with the discoloration problem.

the discoloration which Apple acknowledged is more of a staining effect. My Macbook has the yellowish stain on the trackpad and palmrest area and
currently awaiting for the new casing from Mac.

as a matter of fact: mine is in for his 3d topcase replacement (and other fixes) the salesguy said: they get too hot... so it will always come back anyway...
