So I'm working on transferring some files over from my PB to my external harddrive when the mouse disappears -- okay, I think, no big deal, let's just re-launch the Finder. Well, that locks the computer up. So I restart by holding down the power button.

Once the Apple icon appears on the gray background, a popup pops up and informs me that I need to restart my computer (in about five languages). So I do. And then this second time, not only does that screen pop up, but the entire screen seems to shift 'up' with rows and rows of text.

The last line is: panic: We're hanging here. . .

Ominous. And terrifying. :( Halp?
