no, that is a physical mock up that case designers have been using

im sure that is close to the design of the new iPad 2, but that is not the iPad 2

That's the general rumored form factor, just a mockup.

It looks good from where I'm sitting. What it contains (OS wise, and if ram/processor speed improves) is what's most important.

I think I prefer the curved design more for the iPad. Seems easier to hold but I'll have to see what comes. Also I think they may just call the new iPad.... iPad like they do for iMacs. Just seems to be nicer than saying iPad 2 but I could be wring since the had an apple 2.

It says iPad2 on the back so it must be real.

Apple would just simply put iPad. Not iPad 2. It's a case mock-up, a fake of what the real one might look like. I bet iPad2 was printed on the back to keep it out of the "iPad1" cases.

And the screen is not real, a fake sticker.

WLS used sarcasm!

IT MISSED!

Actually, I took the photo to as large as it would go before becoming super distorted and it looks like it actually says "Pad2." Anyone else catch that? But, I agree most likely a pretty likely idea of the upcoming body refresh.

I'm sorry to break the news to everybody, but this aint it. When have apple ever put the model or generation number on their product? iphone, ipod, macbooks, no. Also, it doesn't look anywhere near good enough to be an apple product.
