I am assuming the IMAC 27" 5K retina will take four of these? There are only four slots? So this will be what I would order? The one in there is an 8 or 2X4?

yes there are 4 slots (maximum RAM = 32 GB).

Do you already have this iMac ? If yes, use the Crucial Scanner.

The MAC is on it's way. From what I have seen it comes with 2X4gb cards. So I will have to purchase (4) 8 Gb cards to get the 32gb and just take out the stock ones
