Hello all....can I please ask if this is the right model of RAM for my early 2009 iMac? I've been told to buy a Kingston 4GB DDR3 10600 1333Mhz Laptop Notebook Ram SO-DIMM Memory.

My Mac is on 2GB at the moment and is really really freezing up on me even though my hard drive is only half full.

Can I bump it up to 8GB or should I stay with just upgrading it to 4GB? Thank you!!

This looks like your machine here.

You want "1066 MHz PC3-8500 DDR3 SO-DIMMs (204-pin)" RAM.

As cheap as RAM is, if you are going to spend the money on an upgrade, I would just pop for the 2X4GB total 8GB. Something like this from Kingston will work.

Thank you so so much :):) I'll get onto it asap. Amazon won't deliver to Australia unfortunately so I'll have to shop on ebay. Is there any ebay store you recommend?

Nothing comes to mind that will ship to AU. I like Newegg's eBay store, but I just checked and they won't ship to you. :(
