So, I've noticed very slow WiFi on my 2013 MBA recently, I ordered an Xbox One earlier and the order took 10 minutes to submit when it said it should have taken 30 seconds. Whilst this was happening I was easily able to browse the web on my iPad air and iPhone over our WiFi.

I was unable to load youtube videos which is normally done no problem, I eventually managed to load up a speed test page and it gave me 3.04mbps. Tested on my iPad straight after and it was the standard 8.50mbps.

I then restarted my MBA and all was well!

Is this the WiFi problem that people were complaining about?

I have problems like these, but the problem always turns out to be Safari. I switch to Chrome and the page(s) load immediately.

I'm finding Safari 7.0 to be slow to load pages including YouTube videos as well. Hopefully a fix is on it's way. In the meantime I've been using Firefox which loads much quicker by comparison.
