Is this Trade in worthwhile

I currently have an I3 intel base model. I can trade it for $330 toward the M1 model. I’m considering it as it would be quite a bit faster than the I3. Thoughts?

If the current mini is solely being used as a iTunes server, I would say keep what you have. If you are using the current mini daily as your main computer, I think the upgrade would be noticeable, although not life changing with typical work flow.

Depending on current specs, the trade-in value seems reasonable.

A new M1 would save you some time encoding.
