haha define worth. If you are getting it for the haha factor or to somehow mod it into something great then sure.

For actually doing any computing, well.... NO. I suppose if it is for a child to use the internet on or something, but even then...

For $30 tho, can't hurt.

I think I would pay $25 for it so I could gut it of electronics and turn it into a really geeky fish bowl. I've wanted to find one of those cheap enough to do that with since I got the idea from userfriendly.org years ago.

btw winghut8, doesn't the rule for making a signature on this site specifically say NOT to do what you did, i.e. having 6 lines or so, one for each item you have?

Lol had to say something about that... No offense or anything.

These can still be used, but, you have better computers. Unless you want a low-load webserver or something it's probably surplus to requirements.

I'm going to echo all the others, it's not worth $30 unless you plan on using it. If it was cheaper (ahem: free) I would probably consider one as a jukebox.

What do you plan to do with the machine?

why bother? a mini would suite you better. or a refurb. you didnt state your needs but i wouldnt buy anything today that is NOT intel. the future is intel. rumor has it the next os x release snow leopard wont run on a G5, or G4. Leopard now won't even run on the G3.
