I believe that is in fact windows 7 but don't take my word for it.

But for your other question if you VM it on your current iMac and in the future purchase another one yes you should be able to install it on that one without buying a new copy of windows 7 just remember to keep your key in a safe place.

I think the system builder part of the name in the amazon post refers to it being an OEM version. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah it is the OEM version of Win 7 64 bit with Service Pack 1 already pre-installed.

For about 7 or 8 more bucks you can probably find the Win 7 Professional same thing instead of Home Premium.

Keep your key and you can activate it eventually on a different computer by phoning into the microsoft mothership and generating a new valid activation key.
