Hello. Anybody knows how Turbo Boost works? I know it is activated automatically under Mac OS. Is it by hardware or software? How about under Bootcamp and Vmware Fusion? Does it work under Vista 64-bit installed in the Bootcamp partition? I suppose in the Fusion case, it will be activated automatically as it is a processor-intensive application running under Mac OS.

Hardware, although there is some software interaction setting the power saving state (which affects if turboboost is activated), I think.

Thanks for the info. So, it will be activated automatically when I run computationally intensive applications under Vista 64-bit (BootCamp).
Anybody knows for sure?
