is Turbo Boost new to MBP???

in the keynote today and the website stating that the new MBP models will have turbo boost technology to the CPU clock speed. Is it new to the MBP line? because previous model specs did not mention it.

They were in the last MacBooks.

It's not new. Intel introduced Turbo Boost a few years ago when Nehalem CPUs were released. Even 2010 15" and 17" MBPs had Turbo, the 2011 update brought it to all models.
