So I would prefer the black iphone 5 because the black front will make the screen "pop" a bit more. However, I appreciate that anodized aluminimum will scratch and siliver aluminimum exposed on a black phone will also "pop" and be more noticeable. So isn't the solution a black front and a natural aluminimum back? That seems the best of both worlds.

Would that look terrible? Any photoshop wiz's out there that want to give it a try? I think it would just require a picture of a white iPhone 5 and then you would have put black glass on the front.

Anyone think if this could be done aftermarket for an afordable price?

Also any word from those colorizing folks? I wonder if they are seeing fixing up scratched black iPhones as a goldmine.

I think the solution is to get a defect-free black iPhone 5 and take good care of it.
