I was able to sell my 3g for around $325.

After tax, and an early upgrade price. I can get the 3GS for $100.

Is it justified? Just looking to see what you guys think is all

I don't regret upgrading to 3g s from my 3g. It's noticeably snappier and I like the video features.

Without a doubt. I sold my 8GB for 320, got the 32 GB 299. I would have bought it out right now that I its actually a considerable upgrade.

Considering the monthly charges you will be paying for the next two years, an extra $100 should be a no brainer. Sounds like it is definitely worth it.

thanks for the replies guys.

im just such a sucker for the new stuff, just like you guys are im sure

i was on the fence as well but am glad i made the leap from the 3G to the 3G S. Its worth the price just for the speed.

To OP: I would say so. You can turn around and (hopefully) sell your 3GS next year for some good cash, right in time for the next iphone ;) I hate how they have us (consumers) by the freakin' balls! Screw you, apple! :D
