Is Verizon FiOS Faster Than Comcast Cable?

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this type of Verizon internet service. I am looking to possibly switch from my current provider and these seems like a good option. Does anyone know what kind of speeds FiOS gets?

I believe that it is really fast. Look on the Verizon site. I know it says it there. I will put it back here after I check.
