Is Verizon shipping on 9/19 or by 9/19

The website and confirmation page both said ships BY 9/19, Status and Verizon phone rep says ships ON 9/19. Does anyone know if Verizon is lame and actually putting preorders in our hands 9/21(shipping on 9/19 would cause this)??

It is by. Don't listen to reps. I've yet to speak to one who didn't just guess what the answer was in spite of having all the available information in front of them.

It will be the 19th. The worse though is the waiting. I remember pre ordering the 5. Fedex did not arrive at my house till 7pm that night!! I hope that doesnt happen this year. As i put to send to my office where i work. And i have a 9-5. So i dont want to sit there after work waiting for the phone to be delivered!

My confirmation email from VZW says DELIVERED BY 9/19/2014. That's the way it was 2 years ago as well.

Verizon screwed over so many people last night with the ECPD error. I saw a ship date of 9/19 a few times early. Then with all the errors and after almost 3 hours of trying I was finally able to order two 6 Plus 128GB models with ship dates of 10/14.

Thanks. I am a 5-year Android Diehard, convert. Apple FINALLY built the iPhone *I* wanted. So I am new to the whole commotion of pre-ordering a i-toy. I own 6 iPads but never got them on launch day. Im really excited, iPhone has the screen size, and now with iOS 8 3rd party keyboards, the last two deal breakers I needed to give up Android, so many other things I'm looking forward to, number one is 128GB storage, largest Android has been 32GB (you can't put apps on a microsd card so they are practically useless).
