Hi everyone, I want to buy an iPhone 8 However the current status is "Unable to pick up", my question is whether I can walk-in an apple store to buy 1? Will Apple Store have any stock for walk-in?

I'd like to get it ASAP, other than wait 2 weeks.

Thanks very very much!

Yes you can. Looks like they still have them available depending on your store. I know for a fact that it still showed available for pick up till a Sunday then apple disabled that. Likely it will come back on soon.

Thanks for your reply! I will take a try tomorrow, Sep-22, I will go there as early as possible.

question is, do they re-enable this on launch morning? or does it take a couple days to come back up?

Pick-up from Apple Store is important, I live in MA but close to NH which is tax free.

If I'm remember previous launches correctly, there typically has been some amount of stock available for walk-in purchases on launch day, though quantities would be a guess. I'd recommend getting there early.

They tended not to have order-for-pickup available until after launch day.

It depends on store availability and how many people pre-ordered to pick up at your store. I'd get there as soon as they open or at least pretty early and see if you can get one.
