I use the hardware mute button on my iPhone and I find that both the sound and taps are disabled on the watch. Is this intended? Do you guys find the same behaviour?

This is weird, because if it is intended, why isn't the mute button light up in the Settings glance?

Mine does too. Normal. I like the feature actually. Typically, if I'm muting my phone there's a reason and sometimes time is a factor so I'd rather it do both then have turn my watch back on, than have to mute two things each time.

DND is synced but hardware silent is not synched for me!! If my phone is on silent (hardware button showing red on iPhone) my watch still stays on loud. (Unless I put the watch on mute. ) do not disturb DOES sync tho. I'm on iPhone 6 with Apple Watch Sport

Ok but explain the behaviour to me. If you press the hardware button on the phone, is the mute button lighted up in the watch's setting glance?
