Is watchOS 1.0.1 compatible with iOS 9?

Yep! It will work perfectly. Originally I had some issues with phone calls, but that was an earlier beta.

As I said in anther post you MUST have iOS 9 installed and running before you can even update to wOS 2. So it HAS to be compatible are you could NOT update to wOS 2.

Also I have been running 9 for weeks and now running 9.1 with NO problems.

Indeed it does. What exactly are the main benefits of iOS 9? Looks the same to me.

My Apple Watch is no longer connecting to my phone since upgrading to iOS 9. Restarting didn't help.

No issues here. I'm sure apple wouldn't roll out iOS9 if it killed Watch OS 1. Not everyone would upgrade their watch immediately. The fact they pulled the upgrade is immaterial imo.

Did that and it seems to have worked.

But maybe not for long. As I did a clean install on my phone, the pairing was already "new", yet it stopped connecting after a while.

We'll see how this goes.

Works here. OTA install of iOS 9, no un-pairing or re-pairing.
