Has apple corrected the whine on the new macbook pros. I know they are fixing the current ones but are the ones at the stores now with the new logic board?
 
if i were you i would buy from apple.com and just wait a few more weeks.

BTO systems have fewer problems then stock SKU's since they generally are newer machines.
