The keynote mentions apps will not be stretched for wider screen and will remain the same in middle. Just there will be two black lines on two edges of the screen because of extra bigger space.

Keynote uses black iphone 5, so sure you will not even notice them. But how about white iphone 5. It that a disaster to have two black lines between the white phone and the shining screen??

Black bezel is always going to blend in with the screen better, whereas white makes a frame. Personally, I prefer the effect a black bezel produces, but its personal preference. I don't think Apple would make a white version if it didn't present well.

have to try hands on

I wanna try some old apps in Apple store before buy. The only reason stops me from pre-ordering a White.

Thanx for mentioning it..i'll buy the black one now..

Eventually I believe all popular apps and serious programmer will update the apps. Just like when iphone 4 fist came out, we suffered some apps that did not support retina display.

Still, two black thick lines on White?? I am not big fan to such idea.

How about using white lines for extra space for white iPhone 5 :D Just add an option in settings

It really doesn't matter. Just watch a non-4:3 video on a white iPad. You'll notice it if you are looking for it, but it's not even remotely bothering.

The white iPhone has always had a black border around the screen (sliver-thin border around the active portion of the display), and the first three iPhones had a prominent silver border around the black border of the screen.

And when you are holding them, there's a variable skin-colored border around that, and your TV that is not hanging on a bare white wall has **** all around it as well.

In other words: this is a mole hill, not a mountain.
