This morning I had an issue with my internet connection. It was taking 30 minutes for Safari and Firefox to load one page. I kept restarting my router and my DSL modem which are in my living room, about 10 - 15 feet from my iBook and I would have the same results. Then I tried shutting airport down and switching to other networks and I got the same response when trying to load websites. I finally tried restarting... 3 times, taking out the battery 2 times. Leaving it alone for about 15 minutes and starting it back up and the same problem. It eventually just returned to normal. I did notice that my DSL modem and Router aren't even transmitting anything when my iBook is trying to load a website. I'm pretty sure it would be the iBook and not my network because it wouldn't work on any other network either.

Could the Wifi on my iBook be going or could it just be something I'm doing wrong.

The same thing happened to my ibook about six months ago. It was like that for most of the day. It went back to normal and never happened again.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it starts happening regularly.
