Dying to switch to Mac, Is yahoo messenger mac compatible? Thanks in advance! :)

Adium is an Instant Messenging application that supports AOL, Yahoo, and MSN. It's just an application, with a pretty normal interface for an app of this type. Read more about it here.

yeah, and it sucks! you can also use adium to chat yahoo msn and aol
It doesn't suck that bad, it just isn't as good as it is on the PC. And it isn't that good on the PC. They need to have a program that's cross platform that has audio and video to go along with regular text. Do a search for instant messenger programs on this site and Version Tracker and you'll find some good alternatives. iChat has a way to access Yahoo and MSN IM through Jabber, but I haven't tried it yet.

There's a nice tutorial on the iChat for MSN & Yahoo thru Jabber over at All Forces

I could never find a good yahoo jabber client however. i could always send people messages, but could not receive theirs

webcam with yahoo messenger

when my friend tries to send her webcam to me, I get this message

this user does not have his/her webcam online

I can see other people's cameras but not hers. she turned off the firewall and installed the latest version of the messenger, but that did not help.

do you know what could be the problem?
