Hi,
I am on O2 here in London. I been testing Vodafone and o2 and then tried the o2 sim on my new iPhone 4 and my upload speeds are mug faster now. I tend to get 1mbit now as before I never got more then 280kbit.
Also internet speed using speed test and google maps seems faster?
What's going on ?
I am happy obviously but anyone else experience this?

Hard for me to tell...

Yesterday my friend came over with his new iPhone 4. Compared it to my old iPhone 3G and launched nytimes.com at the same time. His loaded much faster over 3G than mine did but I don't know if that's because of the network speed or because of the faster processor.

A4 chip + 512mb Ram = Faster Phone

same thing happened from 3G to 3GS, pages load faster because the 3GS has double the ram from the 3G, now the iPhone 4 has double the ram of the 3GS.

Original - 128mb Ram
3G - 128mb Ram
3GS - 256 Ram
iP4 - 512mb Ram

But speed test shows uploads of over 1 mbit now and it never went above 300kbit

The 3GS is fast but the 4 ain't much faster and the ram won't make a difference I don't think
