Is your AT&T Contract LINKED to your phone?

Meaning, can I sign new contract with AT&T, but activate it using a different phone? (iPhone purchased @ full price)

Then return the iPhone I bought at full price, but keep the SIM so I keep my number on the phone and use the phone I bought at a discount?

Your post is confusing...

You get a discounted phone, you have to do the 2 year contract, you can throw the phone away if you want, but you have to do the time anyways.


If what you want to do is buy a full price phone then return it for subsidized pricing it would not work afaik.
