Hey guys,

I need to know it, so, help me, please!

Does your MagSafe power adapter for the new MacBook Pro make any sound if you put your ear to it???

Mine makes a weird electric/static sound which is not loud at all and can only be heard you put your ear to the white brick of the adapter?

I am thinking about exchanging it as many users have told me their adapters are silent... Is yours completely silent too???

yeah, if your to put your ear to it you would hear a high pitched whistling noise. thats the electricity in the transformer block and is normal. :)

Thanks... that high pitched noise is what I hear... But I am afraid it is not normal as my adapter was silent before... Maybe it can even lead to a fire...

Can somebody else tell me how whether their adapters are silent, please??
