Is Your Trackpad Completely Leveled?

Hello,

Is the trackpad supposed to be completely leveled with the rest of the body? The reason I ask is because I have noticed that on some MBPs the trackpad is "pushed" down into the body a little. It is not much but it is definitely visible, there is an indentation. Is this normal or is it a manufacturing defect?

Mine is indented a little, maybe a millimeter. I think it is normal.

I'm pretty sure it's normal.

Every MBP i've seen in person has the trackpad indented into the body by probably around 1-2 mm.


Even if it isn't normal, if it isn't causing any damage, causing you damage, or messing with your "workflow," (not sure why people use that word as loosely as they do. Tinkering on the internet is not part of a workflow. "Base-modeling, mapping, sculpting, painting, animating, rendering" IS a workflow. ) then I wouldn't worry about it.
