I found my wireless charging pad the other after having thought I lose it. I love using it but charging is terribly slow.

Is this normal?

If you’re comparing with the same power source connected either directly or via the wireless charging pad, then yes, wireless is way slower and less efficient, while potentially creating more heat at the device.

This appears to be true. The iPhone gets pretty hot. I just have a regular wireless charging pad. It's not fancy or anything but it works. Just very slowly ha

The massive camera bump doesn't help either. On the IKEA charger, I can't place it in a way where it is no gap between the phone and the pad and charges.
