I've had my ishuffle for 3 years now and it worked great until recently. The battery life always lasted a long time but when I try to charge it now nothing happens. I've tried it on a couple computers and none of them even recognize that it's in the USB port. No lights are turning on the shuffle either except for the battery light when pressed is red. Is there anything I can do? I'm not sure if the battery needs to be replaced because the battery life lasted awhile last time I used it. Have any suggestions?

iPod iShuffle no longer charging 3 years old

Still not working when I use the reset utility software it doesn't even recognize the ishuffle so it can't reset
Did you try Disk Utility?

yeah I think I bought it in April 2005, guess I got my years mixed up. So that should mean that it could still work right?
It's a mac utility for mounting and repairing hard drives. Do you have something like that for your PC?
I think I downloaded something like that for my isuffle but the problem is that there is no interaction between the computer and the shuffle when plugged in. I think there could be something wrong with the usb stick.
