iSight and Image Capture -- No?

In an old issue of a mac mag, there's instructions on how to set up your camera for sharing so I can see the images on the net anywhere. Cool stuff.

But Image Capture can't see the camera.... Why?
I would think what I want to do would be possible. Photo Booth takes pics via code, so it can be controlled remotely.


Any ideas?
