I have a late 2012 iMac with the FaceTime HD iSight camera. If I do a movie recording in QuickTime player it picks up my camera in widescreen 16 x 9 at 1280 x 720 format. But if I try to broadcast on a video chat site and I choose the FaceTime HD cam in the flash settings it only displays my video in a 4 x 3 aspect ratio cropping out sides of the video. Is there any way to get it to display the 16 x 9 aspect ratio with the flash forecasting like QuickTime movie player uses? It doesn't have to be HD, I just want it to display the whole widescreen image rather than crop in the sides off. some of the video chat sites flash setting will leave at 4 x 3 without being stretched, but some of them will stretch it out to get the video frame horizontally and makes me look wide.
