iSight camera compatibility

I just bought a used 2013 iMac, 21.5 and it came without the iSight camera. I don't know why, I just know it was a good price and jumped on it. I know of someone selling a 2011 model for parts and I'm wondering if I could just strip out the camera, camera/microphone cable and screws and move it to my 2013.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
