Isight camera removable?

You can stick something on top the iSight camera too
I would imagine that if he can not being cameras to where he works that merely covering up the lens would not be an option.
That's very interesting. I've never heard of someone having this be an issue but then again I know there are places where you can't bring cameras...such as data centers. Sucks dude. wish I had a solution. Unfortunately almost every laptop these days have a camera.

You can actually call Apple Sales, and get one without the camera. They don't have it on their website, but I have heard of people doing it with little issue.

Last time I was in court, there was a sign out front before the
airport-style security gate that prohibits cell phones with cameras
and laptops with webcams.

Okay, I asked the genius in the store and they said its impossible, instead they try to get me to buy the ipad. That isnt very helpful at all because i want a computer with OSX, not the iphone OS. I really do not want an iphone OS, and lets just leave it at that.
Anyways, i always heard that if a person does not get help from the genius in store, they can always make a call to apple and tried to negotiate something from there, can someone tell me the phone number? Without having a real computer with me, i could not post the serial number and thus could not get the online help/service/get them to phone me option that i want.

There's nothing to negotiate? They can't build one for you without an iSight, and you're already free to remove it yourself. I don't really see why you need to call anyone.
I have to admit that i am a noob on computer, any safe way to remove the camera without the risk of damaging the notebook?
My father works for the government and they don't allow any sort of cameras in there. I had to modify his iPhone and BlackBerry. That was simple. For the Macbook Pro. The department ordered him one with the camera removed from Apple. So it is possible

seriously... the people behind the desk are hardly genius's... if you spend your time doing research online you will know more about the product then the so called genius. I walked into an apple store once and asked if the MBP had an IPS panel... they all looked at me like i was speaking some foreign language.
needless to say, calling the hotline will probably give you a much better option. Do you really want it without a camera though?
Wouldn't this solve your problem?
just paint it over the camera - won't be able to see the camera anymore and the camera won't be able to see you anymore.
No idea why the saleswoman seems to be very resented that i called her and she is being slightly rude to me. She said its not possible to sell me a macbook pro without an isight camera.
She even tried to find me a previous version of macbook pro without an isight camera. That moment that i thought she might not have an idea of what she is saying because even i know without researching that all macbook pro has an isight camera.
So I might call later, hopefully its not her again!

email customer relations and express to them you don't believe the sales department has the information you need to order a computer.
Why can't you bring the camera to work?
