Photobooth and such demand that I don't have an iSight any longer in my MBP. I haven't changed anything significant in my installation, so I don't know what caused this. I tried resetting the PRAM but it didn't help.

What's going on? What should I try to do to fix this?

Hmm.. What does the System Profiler say?

located in:
Applications / Utilities / System Profiler.app

Does it even acknowledge there's a iSight attached on the USB bus?

No iSight on any USB Bus. (Why does it say "USB Bus" anyway? Isn't the bus redundant?) Could this be a problem in hardware?

Thanks landis, but it's definitely out of warranty.
