isight for video blog/recording something

I just got a macbook pro

can someone please give me a step by step of how to use my built in isight to record w/e it is that I want to?

I honestly dont even know how to open isight unless I'm connected to the internet and on ichat (AIM)

but i want to record offline? I can do this i believe...how?

to record the video you have a few options
1)Photobooth has a video record feature
2)iMovie can capture from the iSight cammera
3)Quicktime pro can do video recordings

after you record just upload to your favorite video site (ie. Youtube, vimeo)

lastly embed the video on your blog
