isight for video blog/recording something

I just got a macbook pro

can someone please give me a step by step of how to use my built in isight to record w/e it is that I want to?

I honestly dont even know how to open isight unless I'm connected to the internet and on ichat (AIM)

but i want to record offline? I can do this i believe...how?

You can record from iMovie. Go to Import from Camera ... or choose the videocamera looking button on the far left of the middle row.

If there is no other camera connected, it defaults to the iSight.

You can also record from Quicktime if you have upgraded to quicktime pro or ever from Photo Booth!
