Alright so yesterday my iSight was working perfectly fine until i was going to take a picture and these "rainbow" lines appeared on the screen i thought nothing of it, so i clicked the "take the shot" button and after it showed the image the screen was left black, and has been. I have done the following

1. Reset PRAM
2. Reset SMC
3. Reinstalled OS 10.6 then full upgrade to 10.6.6
4. Opened the laptop and unconnected the display wires, then reconnected the.
(note did not have the tool to removed the battery)

and as of right now im banging my head against the wall trying to fix this, and im tempted just to smash it with a hammer.

I'm using a 2.53GHZ late 2009 15.4" MBP UNIBODY (non-removable battery)

What do you pros recommend? and should I just get apple care then call them in 2-3 weeks and be like my isight does not work.......
