iSight Light Randomly Turns On...

Hi all,

Occasionally when I turn on my Macbook Pro, the green light of the built in iSight will go on...and it kinda creeps me out. I have to restart my computer for it to go away. What is going on? Any idea?

do you have any ustream or webcam stuff installed/registered? Are video chats automatically accepted in iChat?

my roommates brand new mac book started to do this after installing 10.5.2 and when the light was on it photo-booth wouldn't open.... I reset the PRAM and it hasnt come back since...(incase you dont know to reset pram... shut down mb...remove battery hold power button until it beeps..replace battery, restart.) I have no idea why this worked... but it did...prior to it i repair permessions in disk utility but the light stayed on.
