Hey, this just started today but the little green iSight light wont turn off. I haven't run any programs to use it at all today and I dont know why it is on. I tried a restart and it stayed on during the shut down and the ensuing boot up. What's going on here!?!?! Has anyone else run into this before or has any advice?

have you been to any questionable websites or installed any "plug-ins" lately?

Try creating a new account or logging in as a guest and see if that helps. Does the light turn on immediately when you power up the machine, or does it wait until the login screen is up, or does it wait until you've logged in?

If it is on immediately, then it isn't a software issue. Strange for a light to get stuck ON, though. Burning out I could understand...
