I've recently developed a problem with the built in iSight camera on my MBP (SR) with OSX 10.5.1. as far as I'm aware, there weren't any software updates prior to the problem starting. the camera works fine in iMovie and Photo booth, but not with iChat or Skype. In iChat it says "your camera is in use by another application" (even after a fresh restart with iChat being the only thing running) and Skype simply says "no video camera connected". Also, I have Windows Vista on bootcamp and installed a windows version of Skype and the camera worked fine there, so the problem seems to be a software issue with Mac OSX.
Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I found the solution. Turns out that while attempting to fix a problem I had with Quicktime, I deleted the file QuickTimeUSBVDCDIgitizer.component in the System/Library/Quicktime folder. I put it back (thanks to Time Machine) and it now works fine.
