I have a aluminum macbook 2.4ghz and I seem to be having a problem with my iSight. It shows up fine on my computer and I also have my old PC in my room and when i video chat to that one it seems to work fine. However, it seems whenever I try to connect to anyone else they only get a black screen, does anyone know how to troubleshot this or have any suggestions. Thank you.

I tried a search for this but did not find an answer and googled and found a good amount of people who had a black screen on their own mac but none with this problem.

Are you saying that you are trying to connect an external iSight to your new MacBook? If this is the case, correct me if I am wrong but isn't the iSight (external) firewire? And doesn't the MB have a built in iSight?

he's/she's saying the picture (from the built in camera) shows up fine on his screen.
