Hi, i recently bought the iskin evo 3 for my new 80gb iPod. I bought it since it was advertised that it fits in the apple universal dock but I have found this extremely difficult to do. I have read many reviews and people always complain about having problems using the hold button (I dont have this problem).
I removed the 5g plastic used in the dock (included in the ipod) and it still the iPod does not stay in the dock. The piece of silicon that protects the dock connector (in iskin) gets in the way. I have to make a lot of pressure to make the ipod stay properly inserted in the dock and I fear I could damage the connector on the ipod.
Have any iskin owners with the apple universal dock had this problem? What am i doing wrong?
