I searched and googled but I couldn't find what happened. I went to look for istat pro and noticed islayer.com was gone and istat menus is now sold by bjango. I know I've been living under a rock for a while but when did this happen?

I know I can download istat pro from various sites, I'm more curious to know what happened.

That backs up what I found, I guess there was no public release or some sort of announcement then.

I received this last year...

The iStat Pro widget does actually still work in Mountain Lion - as you said, you can still find some working download links via Google, even though the iSlayer web site no longer exists.

However, you will have to do some "customizing" to get it to work correctly in Mountain Lion. Check out this thread for the details:

Can't take any credit for the solution, but I can verify that it's been working fine in ML since I made those changes.

I don't doubt that, but I was asking about iSlayer, not getting istat pro to work in ML ;)

Anyone have a good replacement widget. I don't want that info on my menubar... I want it in a dashboard so I can look at it non and again but it be out of the way when I don't need it...
