Anything regarding the notches and the design language around them. Not in the keynote and not in the presentation video with Jony Ive. For something that was supposed to be secret and completely new, they made no mention of the screen design - which is the biggest feature of the biggest release since the original iphone. Weird.

They also didn't mention if the new phones can record stereo audio. Looking at the tech specs diagrams and comparing them to those of the iPhone 7, there appears to be an additional mic at the top of the phone now, so I suspect they can record stereo audio now.

If so, that's a huge deal for me and could once and for all lay to rest my plans to get a LG V30 and could also break me of my dual upgrade path on Samsung phones. That is one thing those Android phones have done so beautifully: give immersive stereo audio. I currently use a plug in lightning mic to get stereo audio on my iPhone video recordings.

But I'm not sure the new iPhones can do stereo audio recording. They didn't say, did they? I tried to listen for such news but it's possible I missed it.

And now I'm guessing you can't see when you have on DND, battery percentage, alarm, Bluetooth.
